I have always been one of those ‘artsy creative people’.
I hear a song, and I picture the dance that goes with it.
I smell memories (yes, that’s exactly what I mean) and I view the world around me as if it were a photo album.
I am an artist, and therefore I do not simply take photos – I capture moments.
The Arts have been an essential part of my life from a very early age. I currently hold a Masters Degree in Education with a Fine Arts focus, and am a teacher at a Fine Arts School. I have always had an interest in photography and am intrigued with the magic of capturing a moment forever in time. I remember using my Grandpa’s old film SLR, and I got a rush every time I went to pick up the photos. I love every aspect of being a photographer – snapping the perfect shot, having a flexible schedule to spend time with my family, and also doing something that I feel incredibly passionate about. I also appreciate your time, and work to make the session as fun and light as possible. I want the memories of our time together to be just as enjoyable as the photos you will hold for years to come.
As a new mom of an adorable little guy (whom I love to photograph!), I value family and appreciate how precious each moment with them can be…time flies by so quickly, and I want to capture those moments with you so you can cherish them for years to come.
I am a hands on learner, so I am always seeking out new ways to learn by experience. I constantly work with other professionals to keep my photos fresh. Please let me know if you have ideas that you want to incorporate into the shoot – I am willing to be adventurous and try something new!
My goal is to capture the pure and simple moments in life, and I look forward to working with you!
